ART DEPARTMENT

Caley Miles is an emerging Production Designer living and working on the land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation (Sydney). A 2021 graduate from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School's Masters of Screen Arts: Production Design (2021), Caley hopes to pursue a career in production design, through new experiences and opportunities in the art department.

In her first year out of AFTRS, Caley was able to experience a wide range of roles, with varying levels of responsibility, stepping up from Design Assisting, to Property Master on Fremantle's "Significant Others", to then being offered the role of Set Decorator on Stan's "Year Of" (set to be released in 2023). She was also privileged enough work along side Fiona Donovan (The Twelve, A Place to Call Home), on the SBS webseries "Appetite" as Set Decorator.

In October Caley travelled to Spetses, Greece to attend the first ever Production Designer's Collective, 'The Gathering', where she was able to rub shoulders with some of her design heroes for 4 days (notably KK Barrett, Fiona Crombie and Sarah Greenwood).

In 2019 Caley graduated from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts: Film, Television and New Media Production (with distinction).

Caley's most recent feature film The Big Dog is a 80-minute feature film, set to be released in late-2023.
